This is a fun Christmas year at our house. The boys are pretty excited. Miles has been coloring in squares on his Advent calendar each day and helping with the Advent wreath. Both boys like pretending to be Santa and handing out toys. But mostly this year I really see them understanding the real meaning of Christmas. Miles loves to look at my nativity set and ask about all the people. He has been drawing manger scenes and creating them out of Legos. He pretends I am Mary and Chris is Joseph. We read the Christmas story over and over and the boys are especially looking forward to eating the birthday cake they made for Jesus.
